Glances on the planet at the beginning of the new millennia, inspired by Susan Sontang’s essay Regarding the pain of others.
Each piece reveals a specific moment, place and circumstance. The mystery of belonging to one and not to the other.
Apartness in issues such as migrations, showing paradoxes between human and animal frontier movements, or poverty and lush nature, fragile environment and indigenous lives; Togetherness in what is essential to our human condition such as shelter, food, celebration…and what isn´t .
Paintings, some sewn, that change depending on the angle or the light that hits them, as reality does when seen through a different color glass or during a lifetime.
Many different worlds in this one and only One.

Cada obra refleja un momento, lugar y circunstancia concreta. El misterio de pertenecer a una y no a la otra.
Apartness, separación en circunstancias como migraciones, mostrando movimientos paradójicos entre fronteras de humanos y animales, o la pobreza y la naturaleza exuberante, medioambiente frágil y vidas indigenas; Togetherness, unión en lo esencial a nuestra condición humana como cobijo, comida, celebración…y en lo que no es.
Pintura que cambia según el ángulo o la luz que recibe, como la realidad, según el cristal por el que se mire o en el transcurso de una vida .
Muchos mundos diferentes en este único Uno.
