El Far de Ses Coves Blanques presenta esta exposición que invita a reflexionar sobre la relación entre humanos, animales y plantas, más allá de lo antropocéntrico. With Anima I continue to focus on how we relate to nature, now selecting images from the land where I grew up. Those of animals are taken by trail cameras set in wilderness. Then printed on bone or skin from farm animals. Materials we use for clothes or musical instruments, among other things. Wild on domesticated. The trees are printed on wood used for furniture, building or heating. “Organic” canvases that show our relationship and interconnectedness with nature. On them I paint or carve traces, reminiscences of the life force or spirit, Anima Mundi or cosmic psyche. The hidden presence only to be seen by the eyes of reverence.
